Psyonix, the developers of Rocket League, have released a brand new trailer to showcase their upcoming DLC pack, titled Supersonic Fury. You can watch the trailer for yourself and see a breakdown of what is going to be included when it launches in August.
So whats new?
Well obviously we are gonna get some new cars. An American Muscle car named Dominus, as well as a Japanese tuner called Takumi. Both cars will feature up to 6 different decals, and VP of Marketing for Psyonix Jeremy Dunham also revealed on the PlayStation Blog, that both cars are EXCLUSIVE to the DLC pack.
Aside from new vehicles, we are also getting:
You can expect all of this sometime in early August, when the Supersonic Fury DLC pack launches for $3.99.
But wait, there's more!
There will also be a FREE game update as well. It will include the first new map, called Utopia Colliseum, and nore than 70 new counrty flags. A new "Spectator Mode" will be part of the update too, that will allow spectators to watch live games from any camera angle in the arena.
Improved "Goal Explosions" and "Demolitions" are coming, as well as a brand new track called "Firework". (No, not THAT Firework.) This one is by an electronica group called Hollywood Principle.
If you still haven't played Rocket League, do yourself a favor and pick it up. I'm no soccer fan, and I have never been a "car guy". But I freaking love this game.
The game is FREE for PlayStation Plus members until August 3rd, and even features Cross-Play support for PC.
