I was lucky enough to spend last weekend in Boston, working the Hauppauge Gaming booth on the floor at Pax East. I snapped some cool cosplay pics, made plenty of new friends, and sold quite a few HD PVRs in the process as well.
I should start here, by letting you know, that this was my first event like this ever. I've never attended a con, or any other gaming venue before, so this was a real treat for me. Everyone in our little group was a blast to hang out with.
Our booth was shared between those of us with Hauppauge Gaming, and a great group of guys from over at CinchGaming.com. They offer tournament approved controller customization and modifications. (If you check them out, use code ribbet for 5% off your purchase.)
So we sold HD PVRs, and they sold controllers. It was a pretty sweet deal, because we could show off the recorders in action on my Xbox, while letting people use the controllers to. And we didn't have to do much work. The gadgets sold themselves.
So we had plenty of time to walk the show floor, and look around, or just do whatever. And there was tons to see and do. So much so, that I didn't have time to actually do any of it. I was overwhelmed by the sheer amount of gaming bliss, that I just wandered around in awe and soaked it all in. Plus, it was just too much fun hanging out with everyone at the booth, cracking jokes and talking video games.
If you know anything about Pax, then you know it was great. I'm gonna finish this off with some photos from the trip, and if you want to see my recap video, it's down below as well. If you were there, and we had a chance to meet, I'd love to here from you again. So hit me up.
If you prefer the video form of coverage, i put this together yesterday. And there's some good cosplay on display too.
